Looking for a Rockstar Volunteer Are you super organised, good with people, and want to make a difference? We’re on the lookout for a hands-on, office-based volunteer to join our small but passionate team at The African Eye Institute, a non-profit based in Umbilo, Durban. You’ll help keep things running smoothly behind the scenes – from admin and coordination to chatting with partners and supporting our community projects. In return, you’ll get some great experience and a small stipend. What we’re looking for: A valid driver’s license Experience in admin and coordination Good communication and problem-solving skills Confident using Excel and general computer programs Comfortable engaging with senior management and external partners Well-organised and able to write clear reports Bonus: Basic finance knowledge is a plus Interested? Send a short (max 2 pages) summary of your experience and skills to: info@aei.org.za If you don’t hear back from us within 2 weeks, it just means we’ve found someone who’s a good fit – but we really appreciate your interest. We’re excited to welcome someone who’s ready to get stuck in and make a difference.
