We have career guidance and mentorship programs where we assist learners with extra classes and help them apply for university enrollments and NSFAS. We have keep a girl child in school project, for this project we donate sanitary pads to young girls in township schools and orphanages. We have food security projects where we tackle issues of poverty and malnutrition in our community by doing soup kitchens and donating food parcels for the people who are in need.

MathMoms is a women's initiative that builds confident communities, one maths empowered child at a time. We seek to develop community levels by following a holistic and multilevel approach:
- We train and up-skill unemployed adults to become mathematics tutors to foundation phase learners in their communities
- Develop learners' mathematical and literacy skills through personal interaction and care, learning through play, and the creation of safer spaces where learners can feel secure, learn, and flourish
- We nurture healthy and supportive intergenerational relationships through everyday acts of care, and by providing trauma support to the adults and the learners in our programmes.
- We promote parental involvement at schools.

Our approach can be summarised by our Triangle of Trust, which consists of nurturing love (based on positive attachments), skills transfer, and relationship building. Through this, we hope to create structures of belonging around vulnerable learners, while also empowering adults with the necessary skills and work experience to pursue further employment or study. 

We partner with schools, with our 'MathMoms' providing maths lessons to 2-4 learners at a time during school hours. In the afternoons, the Moms support learners in their direct vicinity with fun maths activities, reading, and homework. In doing so, they become lighthouses in their communities, and safety nets for children who face many adversities in their daily lives.

Love Story is a NPO that was founded in 2012. We operate in and around Gqeberha, working closely with 33 community leaders. 

Our mission is to serve the community through feeding schemes, educational upliftment, and food gardens to promote sustainability and alleviate poverty. 

Since 2020, we have served 4.6 million meals. Our Love Sandwiches project, which began in 2021, has delivered over 256 000 sandwiches to school children.

Our current projects are:
1. Love Sandwiches - supplying sandwiches to 22 Early Learning Centers
2. Hospital Outreach - giving gift bags to new moms containing necessities
3. Community Feeding - providing 29 Soup Kitchens with food ingredients and gas
4. Love Gardens - planting large and backyard gardens to create food sustainability
5. Edu-libraries - supplying a bookshelf filled with educational equipment for a child's holistic development
6. Buckets of Blessing - gifting buckets filled with non-perishable food items to assist families over the festive season

Every human is instinctually and powerfully driven to find ‘safety and acceptance’ in community. Our first ‘community’ is with our mother and in our family – it is our first Trust space and lays the foundation for all our future outcomes from measurable health outcomes to our own ability to learn and then contribute meaningfully to the community later.

When families/communities are fractured and cannot provide this sense of Belonging, great hurt happens and the cycle of poor relationships is set in motion. The consequences of this social fracture are exponentially worse when that fracture happens in our earliest relationship experiences.

Embrace Village is using an integrated plan to improve the way families work in SA.  Rebuilding the "Village" by bringing together infants, children, youth, adults and elders in a safe and empowering environment. We are reweaving the social fabric one relationship at a time.

We use a multi-faceted intervention strategy with many connection points. Every intervention begins with the need to take an individual from a state of High Dependency – Low Contribution to one where they are able to recognize and develop a mindset of Independence through increasing levels of contributing to community.

Fanang Ka Bophelo is a dedicated non-profit organization based in Rustenburg  Kanana, North West, Johannesburg, focused on HIV & AIDS prevention, testing, and counseling. Our mission is to empower individuals and communities by providing essential services and education, ensuring everyone has access to the support they need to lead healthy, fulfilling lives.

Our journey began when we noticed a concerning gap—too few young people were stepping forward to help others in the fight against HIV & AIDS. This realization drove us to take action, leading to the formation of Fanang Ka Bophelo. We believe that by fostering a spirit of care and responsibility among the youth, we can create a stronger, more resilient community that can overcome the challenges of HIV & AIDS together.

At Fanang Ka Bophelo, we offer comprehensive services, including free testing, counseling, and educational programs, all designed to meet the unique needs of our community. This ECD was started in 1994 by the Mother of the now supervisor as she was a community health worker at the time her job was to go around training people how to survive by making jam and other food for them to survive as she was doing that she started seeing the patten that children were left alone as the parents were gone trying to make money for the family to survive. After sometime of see this she went back to talk to a few people in the community about starting an ECD center to get the children off the streets when their parents are at work or trying to find a job. This was then when one of the people in the community offered her a place she can use to start the ECD. The basic aim of starting this ECD was to get children off the street in order to holistically develop them for their life ahead to show children that education is important no matter where you come from, to show children the road to success is not easy but a very hard road to follow. We are a developing ECD which tries to upbring the children of the community but we do not have all the necessary help needed, as we are not under Government so everything we have we do for ourselves as we are in the rural area we understand that not everyone is able to pay school fees so their are parents who do not pay as they are unable to as they have no jobs.

The Imbeleko Foundation, established in 2010 by Sbusisiwe 'S’bu' Myeni and her late twin sister, Dr. Seni Myeni, is based in the Valley of 1000 Hills in KwaNyuswa, South Africa. This area, marked by a complex socio-economic history, suffers from poverty, high unemployment, and health crises like HIV/AIDS. Local communities face systemic social inequality and under-development, trapping many youth in a cycle of poverty.

Imbeleko Foundation aims to break this cycle by empowering children and youth in these rural communities. Despite only 60% of students reaching Matric, and just 12% accessing university education, with 10% graduating, Imbeleko Foundation is committed to changing these outcomes.

Our mission is to offer a comprehensive support system through an integrated approach to education, mentoring, and social support. This includes a partnership with the University of Cape Town Online High School, Afterschool STEM Programmes, Boarding School and University Scholarships, and various development programmes in wellness, character, leadership, mentoring, tech, and practical skills.

In addition to core programmes, we provide skills development for out-of-school youth and unemployed graduates, along with support in nutrition, healthcare, sports, arts, and culture, ensuring families receive the necessary support for their children’s educational and employment success.

The organisation was established n 1969.We cater for 113 persons on a daily basis which comprises of three areas : residential(23) ,Day Facility(70)Severely Profound(20).Residential has two housemothers who provide two meals and a snack during the week,and three meals on the weekend.This is a home away from home.Day Facility known as a protective workshop.Persons from the residential are part of the Day facility from Monday to friday. They participate in education,sport(soccer & netabll) and contract work assigned to our organisation by a company called IOTECH.Our beneficiaries assemble units for automated gates.Once the work is completed by us the supervisor checks the work and delivers same to the company.The company pays us for the work completed.The beneficiaries receive a stipend according to the work  completed.They work on a production line which allows most of the beneficiaries to participate in the program.They also participate in education programs provided by ABET .They also participate in arts and crafts,bead work,gardening,computer skills,recycling.We have a woodwork workshop with equipment. Some items we have made are school desks,promotional gifts,folding table and chairs over the past year.We are looking for a someone who is passionate and would like to share knowledge with our beneficiaries whilst growing this project.  We also have 6 singer industrial sewing machines and overlockers.Some are working.

Individuals and the communities they come from suffer from generational trauma from past history.  Young people particularly experience a sense of disconnection and hopelessness. That results in self harm connected to substance abuse and GBV amongst others. Many young people and their communities often experience trauma, which can leave them vulnerable to issues such as gender-based violence, teenage pregnancies, and substance abuse. Our focus is primarily on boys and young men, as we aim to challenge and explore alternative ways to address the impacts of unprocessed trauma that is often at the heart of toxic masculinity. These impacts often manifest through gender-based violence and substance abuse. Lack of community support and peer pressure compounds the situation. Our approach is to raise awareness and build knowledge and skills about GBV, SRHR, Substance Abuse and holistic well-being to improve self-esteem, non-violent communication, and healthy sexuality in places of learning in the Garden Route and beyond. We believe that having brave conversations about how power is constructed in society will lead to healthier individuals and communities that trust themselves to find their own solutions.

The key focus areas of Emancipation include education and awareness, early intervention, community involvement, counseling and support services, and policy advocacy and also surrounding issues like HIV&AIDS, teenage pregnancy. These programs aim to prevent substance abuse by addressing risk factors such as lack of knowledge about the dangers of substance abuse, social influences, and individual or family factors. They also work to promote protective factors such as positive peer relationships, healthy coping skills, and community support. 

Sunny South Village was initially established in a farmland in the late 2006 by people who were farm laborers in the surrounding commercial 6 farms, State bought the land for the people and build RDP houses and one primary school. Some of the initial occupants of Sunny South Village were also people who were working from industrial factories around East London. As time went by, Sunny south Village also became home to well-off people who are working in the public service, retail supermarkets and services sectors of the economy. The climatic conditions of East London are ideal for learner’s support programmes. As for many parents are at work in the local farmers of Tomatoes and pines also Kidd’s beach’ s business hub. They don’t have time to support their children with homework’s and school activities.

Dancers Love Dogs is committed to supporting animals in need of sterilisation.  

By reducing the growing number of unwanted and neglected animals in the community, we are able to reduce the number of pets euthanised.
Animal organisations are overburdened with animals and sadly, the current state of animal welfare often makes euthanasia unavoidable.  It is estimated that well over 1 million dogs and cats are euthanised in South Africa every year.

Our primary funds are raised from our Dancers Love Dogs Show where all the profits are for sterilisation, as everyone involved donates their time and expertise.

There is a growing and desperate need for sterilisation projects, so we are exceptionally proud of our collaboration with The National Sterilization Project to identify and plan projects; and decide where the funds raised by each of our organisations will be best used.
 
Whilst Dancers Love Dogs and NSP do fund some smaller dedicated projects for our beneficiaries that are close to Metropoles, our primary focus is on Pet Population Management in small geographic and remote areas where there are very poor communities with little or absolutely no access to vet services.

The goal is to ‘clean up’ these areas with 70% - 80% of the pet population sterilised, and thereafter only ‘maintenance’ is required.

We only pay directly to vets to ensure the proper use of our funding.

Dexter and Matu Zama Academy (DMZ) focuses on the literacy and numeracy needs of children. The aim of the Academy is make the children confident and able to manage mathematical problems. Women are trained in sewing, in order to assist them to produce items such as aprons, bags and pin cushions. These items are sold in order to earn an income. Food preservation skills are also taught so that the women preserve their excess vegetable production. Preserving the excess vegetables makes it possible to save, as money that would have been used to buy vegetables can be put to better use.

"Sikhululekile Reading Development and Life Skills was established in 2012 to address the challenges faced by the youth of Philippi and surrounding areas. Rucore was established in 1991. The name Rucore originally stands for Rural Education Development Corporation,  given our focus on rural areas and development through education about nature, culture and learning to care for the land we live on. 

For the past 35 years Rucore has tested its sustainability thinking  at various communities across South Africa, notably at Tlholego Ecovillage (outside Rustenburg in the North West Province).

Autism Connect is a Specialised Early Learning Centre for learners with autism spectrum condition (ASC). A.S.C is a neurological disorder and related conditions, ID, ADHD & ADD where learners face challenges such as communicative delay, social interaction as well as sensory processing.
By creating the most conducive environment for learning, combined with the latest technological resources and tools, we hope to aid the education and development of our learners. We enrich their learning journey by recruiting the best and most competent teachers, specialising in inclusive education methodology and approaches.

Art is used as a medium of education to promote colour and visual aids in the learning process. We use role play and promote physical activity for the well-being of the child. At Autism Connect we also promote a healthy diet as part of the development and growth of the child and our daily menu is constantly reviewed to give the child the most nutritious and healthy meals. We also promote facilitation and advocacy as part of our work and we
collaborate with like-minded organisations and individuals to further promote our work to the benefit of our learners, parents, and the broader autism community.

Kidz Hub is an After-School and Saturday school program that focuses on the academic and personal development of township kids. To date Kidz Hub has impacted over 480 township kids and over 250 unemployed youth. 

At Kidz Hub we help kids with daily homework, reading, spelling, research, test preparations and project assistance, while we also have activities that expose them to technology and entrepreneurship. 
We target unemployed youth within the community and train them to be part of our 1year volunteering tutor program. Throughout the 1 year, our volunteering tutors participate in personal development , career guidance, mentorship and computer skills development programs, to upskill and get them ready for their academic year in university.

We charge a minimum membership fee to all enrolled kids to cover our monthly operating expenses. Alma School also offers our learners exposure to a variety of both cultural and sports activities. Cultural activities include participation in the school percussion band, dancing group, gumboot dancing and choir. All the learners in the school receive opportunity to participate in the school’s bi-annual concert. The following sports are coached at the school, namely soccer, netball, cricket, karate, golf, and athletics.
Alma School manages a feeding scheme that provides a balanced diet to a number of less fortunate learners.  This ensures well-nutritioned children who can participate optimally in the learning program daily.

The service includes the provision of psychosocial, spiritual and bereavement care to patients and their families throughout the greater Cape Town area. Women and children are the most vulnerable and face inequalities in South Africa. Poverty, lack of economic opportunities, patriarchal gender norms and dependency has led to women in a continuum of marginalization. 
The culture of violence stems from South Africa’s historical context such as poverty, inequality, lack of power, destabilizing families through migration has led to normalization of violence as an act to exert power.
The scourge of Gender based violence (GBV) against women has heightened in the last 5 years which has led the National strategic plan framework for Gender based violence and femicide in collaboration with government and civil society. The unified policy and programming structure provides a strengthened national response to address this crisis. With more than 50% of the population in South Africa constituting women, the ownership of safety has become a shared responsibility. 
The Rise Up Movement is a community welfare initiative focused on eradicating Gender Based Violence, Domestic Violence, Child Abuse, Human Trafficking and providing sustainable living within various communities on the Dolphin Coast. The primarily focus within The Rise Up Movement is to empower and educate communities on the effect of Gender Based Violence, creating safer communities and guiding survivors/ victims of this vile criminal act.
In the past 21 years, The Rise Up Movement aided more than 2 592 victims of Gender Based Violence, Child Protection ranging from: Counselling.

Every year, hundreds of South Africans with blood diseases such as leukaemia reach the point where their only chance of survival is a bone marrow stem cell transplant. For about 30% of patients, a matched donor can be found in their own family; for the other 70%, their only hope is to find a matched unrelated donor identified by the South African Bone Marrow Registry (SABMR).
The SABMR was established in 1991, motivated by a global concern that although bone marrow transplants were a life-saving treatment option, they were only available to patients with a matching donor in their family. Today, the SABMR searches both locally and internationally for donors, thereby making collaboration with international registries and observing universal standards of practice essential. An internationally recognized registry, the SABMR is a member of the World Marrow Donor Association (WMDA) and is the only fully accredited unrelated stem cell donor registry in South Africa and Africa.
The SABMR has over 79,000 donors on its database. Through its participation with the WMDA Search and Match Services, the SABMR has access to over 41 million donors worldwide. MEN OF CALIBRE is an organization established to alleviate & eradicate the issues & challenges that compromise/degrade the value of men.

The main objective of the organization is to fulfil the mandate of broader Victim Empowerment Programme by providing psychosocial support to victims of gender-based violence with special focus on:  
•	victims of rape, 
•	victims of domestic violence 
In addition, the organization also attends to victims experiencing psychological impact of trauma related to other incidents (e.g. motor accidents, hijacking, murder, armed robberies and assaults).

 Our operations as Sesigo Food Security and Distribution Agency started as Community Developmental Centres where communities would come at a centre and sit decently to have a meal for the day. But due to Covid 19 which hit in the year 2020 we had to change the operations to be able to still meet the needs of those destitute families.

At Bladez Cue Sport Academy, we provide a comprehensive solution for youth development and education. Our state-of-the-art facility is designed with safety and security in mind, allowing students to learn and grow in a supportive environment.
Our team of coaches and instructors lead programs in a variety of areas to help students reach their full potential:
•	Professional Cue Sport Coaches: Students work with experienced cue sports instructors to develop skills and strategies in billiards and pool.
•	Life Coaches: Certified life coaches help students build confidence, set goals, and learn skills to overcome obstacles and achieve their dreams.
•	Computer Classes: Students can take courses to build technical skills that will benefit them for years to come, from coding to software proficiency.
 
Additional programs include:
•	Study Hall: A dedicated space and time for students to work with tutors and complete homework assignments.
•	Nutrition: Workshops and resources empower students to develop a healthy lifestyle and relationship with food.
•	Team Building: Interactive activities that build communication, problem-solving skills, and camaraderie between students.

Yes We Care is a non-profit organisation that was birthed from the Young Wives Club. Young Wives Club is a group which was founded in 2016 to create a community for young wives to help each other navigate and strengthen marriages to build strong and loving families, and in so doing help build strong and loving communities. As members of the Young Wives Club we officially launched the Yes We Care non-profit organisation (NPO) in August 2023 to create an organisation that formalized the community work that we’ve been doing as a group since 2016.
The Yes We Care mission is “to bring hope, healing, and light to marginalized communities one outreach at a time”. Our focus is on ending period poverty, mental health advocacy, and empowerment and upskilling, with a focus on the youth of the communities we work with.
Yes We Care outreaches and projects aim to help eradicate unemployment in South Africa, and address key social issues such as period poverty and mental health issues experienced by the youth in marginalized communities. By helping address these issues, the organisation aims to increase the entrepreneurial spirit and self-sufficiency in communities thus increasing their socio-economic status. Additionally, the organisation aims to create and raise youth who
are virtuous, confident, responsible, goal-driven, and psychologically secure leaders of their communities and the country.

Amoyo Performing Arts Foundation is dedicated to uplifting young people using performing arts as the catalyst. For children and youth, these disciplines provide an opportunity for emotional, physical, and spiritual growth. They encourage creativity and independent thinking, develop self-esteem and confidence, improve physical and mental health, and develop the core values and work ethic needed for a success-focused mindset.
Amoyo means “spirit of appreciation” and this philosophy underpins everything that we do. At the heart of our work is the belief that every young person has the potential to thrive if they have a positive direction to move in. We believe this journey starts with a mindset of appreciation that encourages positive thinking, respect, and resourcefulness. Building on this foundation, we provide a safe and nurturing space for our beneficiaries to explore their creativity and talent in the performing arts, develop their unique voice, and strive toward a bright future knowing they are not defined by the challenging circumstances they were born into.
Through regular attendance of after-school and holiday workshops, beneficiaries gain dance, drama and singing skills together with critical life skills.
Beneficiaries take part in regular performances and also produce a full-length showcase annually providing the opportunity for every beneficiary to perform in several pieces and feel the excitement of costumes, sound and lighting, and a live, applauding, audience.

Youth for Survival (YFS) is a Non Profit  Organisation that was registered in 2007 with a national footprint. It operates from a head office in Pretoria, Gauteng with satellite branches in four other provinces:

Nongama, Kwa-Zulu Natal
Eastern Cape. 
Our mission is to address socio-economic challenges faced by women, children and youth in underprivileged communities, through provision of developmental programmes and giving a holistic support to women and children who are victims of abuse. 

Youth for Survival's vision is to empower and heal victims of abuse, while also placing unemployed beneficiaries into learnerships, employment and helping some to become self-employed.  Provide daily nutritious meals to unhoused community members 

To facilitate, promote, create jobs and income generation opportunities for community development with specific focus on youth, women and children. 
Our services have 9 core programmes namely Skills Development Training, The Tshwane One Stop Safe House for Women and Children, Victim Empowerment centre and therapy , Anti-Teenage Pregnancy Awareness Campaign, Reintegration of Correctional Services Parolees, Scholar Support, Home Based Care for the Aged, Legal Awareness and Community Nutrition Development Centre.

Hope Valley Farm School is an 
independent school, run by a board of trustees. We are a section 21 NPO and can offer a section 18A Tax 
exemption. The school is situated on Buckhaw Brow Farm in Eston, Kwa Zulu Natal, South Africa. The goal of 
the school is to provide an excellent education for the children of the previously disadvantaged communities in 
our area. Specifically, for the children of farm labourers, living in the compounds near the school. Our heart is to 
develop young children as a whole in disadvantaged areas, so that they can then make in impact in their 
communities. We stive to create a safe and nurturing environment to allow our learners to develop not only academically but spiritually, physically and morally.  The school also runs an internship program which mentors and guides young passionate teachers. Our goal is to give them experience and skills so that they can go on and teach in other schools with passion and vision, changing children's lives as they teach.

We are a Non-Profit Initiative providing Unemployed Graduate Youth with free job application and placement services. We have build a cloud based automated Job application solution using Office 365 applications (HubSpot, SharePoint, Power Automate, Outlook, Power BI). Our team of HR Administrations conduct job researches and applications daily for over 350 graduates available on our database from all Universities/colleges in all 9 provinces.

Between Jan-March’24 we have made 1000 graduates Job Applications, with 10 Interviews and 5 Job offers received by the graduates. 

We are in the process of forming a collaboration with the Universities/colleges, companies, and recruitment agencies for graduates’ job placements and the South African Institute of Business Analysis to assist with research in building solutions for graduate placements.
