Uplands Outreach in partnership with Uplands College provides SMILE Literacy Conversational lessons for Grade 4 learners from rural Mpumalanga on Wednesday afternoons. The learners are transported to Uplands College where they receive lunch before spending happy hours reading for understanding and doing various activities with College pupils to enhance and develop reading skills.
