Help Africa Food for Thought with 20 volunteers for colouring Easter Stickers for our Easter Drive
Here's a little more info about this opportunity...
Every year Africa Food for Thought runs an Easter Egg Drive where we gather and label thousands of chocolate marshmallow Easter eggs with messages of hope. Throughout the year we distribute healthy food to children in need, so they can focus on learning at school rather than on where to get their next meal. At Easter we love to treat them with a little bit of a sugary snack to brighten up their days! Your volunteering will bring a smile to children's faces. When you sign up for this need you will receive a colouring template which you will need to print. You can then be as creative as you like - colour it, paint it, use markers, or get your kids involved! Download the sticker sheets here: https://afft.org.za/volunteer/#easter-campaign You'll need to send us a clear scan of your completed page before then 15th of March in order to receive a 5 star rating for this need. You can also choose to drop your completed page at our offices, along with a box of marshmallow eggs, if you live in the Roodepoort area. If you have students in school who need to earn community service hours, each sheet they colour can earn an hour of service!

Helpful tips
Stay safe
- 1. Don’t pass any personal information to people you haven’t met offline before.
- 2. When meeting one of your contacts offline for the first time, always be sure to arrange to meet in a public place.
- 3. Make sure that you are not left alone with someone that you have never met before.
- 4. Know where you’re going. If you’re headed off the beaten track or into an unfamiliar part of town, be sure you have directions and a GPS or map book.
- 5. If you feel unsafe, consult the person in charge and let him or her know.
- 6. Avoid wearing expensive jewellery: it could get damaged, lost or stolen.
- 7. Ask, ask, ask! If you’re worried about something or concerned about your safety in a certain situation, ask the person in charge.
