1. Why Your Ratings Matter

We need your feedback to improve the quality of volunteers and ensure we're adding value to your Cause. Ratings are your voice!

How: Log into your Cause dashboard regularly and rate completed activities that are under unrated activities.

2. Need Responses

Need Responses: When someone clicks on a Need you posted, they want to help. Respond within 5 days and arrange details with them. If they don’t follow through, wait 2 weeks and then rate them with a NO volunteering did not happen.

3. Importance of Rating

  1. Helps us understand what’s happening on Forgood.
  2. Provides feedback to our clients.
  3. Educates volunteers on how to improve.
  4. Gives us ideas for platform improvements.
  5. Increases your profile quality percentage and exposure.

4. Accurate Ratings

  • Only rate volunteers/donors after the activity is completed.
  • Don’t give 5 stars just in hopes they’ll follow through. This skews our data.
  • We escalate 1 or 2-star ratings to the corporate CSI team to improve volunteer commitments.

5. Honest Ratings Help

  • Ratings help us see if we’re adding value.
  • It’s not rude to give low ratings if the volunteer doesn’t follow through.
  • You can re-rate volunteers if they eventually contribute positively.

6. Mutual Accountability

Volunteers also rate you. This affects your star rating on your Cause Profile Page. Corporate clients value your feedback on their volunteers’ performance.
