Help Mpumalanga Youth Council Org Drop in Centre by donating soccer, netball kits for our life skills programme
Here's a little more info about this opportunity...
The MYCO life skills program uses sports activities like soccer and netball as a foundation to teach important lessons around teamwork, leadership, discipline, and healthy habits. These athletic activities engage the youth participants in a fun and interactive way while also developing critical life skills. Currently, MYCO has over 150 young people enrolled in the program, ranging from ages 16-35. However, the organization is limited in the number of participants it can accommodate due to a shortage of proper sports equipment and gear. By donating soccer and netball kits, you can help MYCO expand the reach of their life skills program and provide more youth in the Mpumalanga region the opportunity to get involved. Each kit would include items such as: Soccer balls, jerseys, shin guards Netball balls, uniforms, portable goals With these essential supplies, MYCO can host more practice sessions, facilitate competitive games/tournaments, and create a more immersive sports experience that reinforces the valuable life lessons. Beyond just the athletic component, access to these sports kits will also boost the self-esteem and confidence of the youth participants. Feeling properly equipped and part of a team can have a profoundly positive impact on their overall development. Your donation, no matter the size, will make a real difference in the lives of these young people and support MYCO's mission of empowering the next generation of leaders in Mpumalanga. Please consider contributing what you can to help expand this impactful life skills program.
