Help Viva Foundation of South Africa by donating musical instruments for our Art & Music Development Programme

Here's a little more info about this opportunity...

We need guitars, percussion instruments, recorders, keyboards etc. for our music classroom at the Refilwe campus and the Mamelodi East campus. We have a sponsored teacher giving class twice a week and are in need of instruments for all the learners. PLEASE NOTE IMPORTANT DETAIL ABOUT PRACTICAL ASPECTS: 1. All instruments must be in working order and complete. We are unable to purchase power supplies, replace parts, or fix broken instruments. 2. We are unfortunately not able to collect items. Items can be received at our Refilwe Campus [GPS Viva Connect, Cullinan] and on Wednesdays at 16:00 at Woolworths Equestria back entrance. Thank you for your understanding!

Helpful tips

Stay safe

  1. 1Don’t pass any personal information to people you haven’t met offline before.
  2. 2When meeting one of your contacts offline for the first time, always be sure to arrange to meet in a public place.
  3. 3Make sure that you are not left alone with someone that you have never met before.
  4. 4Know where you’re going. If you’re headed off the beaten track or into an unfamiliar part of town, be sure you have directions and a GPS or map book.
  5. 5If you feel unsafe, consult the person in charge and let him or her know.
  6. 6Avoid wearing expensive jewellery: it could get damaged, lost or stolen.
  7. 7Ask, ask, ask! If you’re worried about something or concerned about your safety in a certain situation, ask the person in charge.
