Because children bear the brunt of abject poverty and social injustice, the Viva Foundation works in South Africa and Brazil, to help vulnerable families to ensure nutrition, quality education, safety and wellbeing, by providing groceries and school meals, independent education, development of the arts and violence prevention and response, ongoing since 2007. The Vision of the Viva Foundation of South Africa is to be instrumental in the transformation of the lives of children and families in informal settlements & other high-priority poverty areas.   Viva's Primary Focus is POVERTY ALLEVIATION and included in our Development and Educational Programmes, is Holistic Family Support. Our programmes: a) Early Childhood Development b) Primary Education with Augmented CAPS Curriculum c) Aftercare & Youth d) Art & Music f) Sustainable Living Skills Training * Vegetable Gardens * Nature Conservation g) Sexual Violence Prevention and Response.
