Bettaway Community Services

Bettaway Community Services (BCS), a well-established & organised NPO, has been making a difference in the lives of young people & families every day in the community of DELFT since 2011. A critical area of help which we focus on is the Bettaway Learning Support Centre (BLSC). At BLSC, we have seen impressive growth and now serve around 80 primary and high school students every weekday afternoon where they receive valuable support with their schoolwork, building their confidence and academic skills. We also run a feeding scheme throughout the week where we aim to reduce hunger and improve nutrition among the learners. BLSC is run by qualified teachers and community volunteers who work together to create a supportive and safe environment.
