Help Girls In STEM Trust by getting laptops, AR/VR & other technology equipment for the Digital Skills Training Program for girls and women

Here's a little more info about this opportunity...

The Digital Skills Programme is an integral part of the work Girls In STEM Trust is involved in to ensure all girls and women that reach out to the organisation are equipped with digital skills before pursuing any other avenue of STEM or Business. This is impactful because it increases the odds of girls and women completing their STEM studies and also gaining a skill that will make them employable almost immediately which goes a long way towards providing poverty alleviation, social ills and unemployment. Girls In STEM Trust works with young women and girls with Special Needs in the Digital Skills Programme and this facilitates the inclusion of all girls in upskilling programs that benefit all participants and allow for an equitable environment for all young women and girls to explore greater opportunities as their technology skills grow.

Helpful tips

Stay safe

  1. 1Don’t pass any personal information to people you haven’t met offline before.
  2. 2When meeting one of your contacts offline for the first time, always be sure to arrange to meet in a public place.
  3. 3Make sure that you are not left alone with someone that you have never met before.
  4. 4Know where you’re going. If you’re headed off the beaten track or into an unfamiliar part of town, be sure you have directions and a GPS or map book.
