Girls In STEM Trust

Girls In STEM Trust, is an education non-profit organisation that caters for women and girls from low to middle income backgrounds aged between 11 and 25. It is geared towards nurturing, educating, advocating and empowering young women and girls in Zimbabwe and Africa to confidently take up STEM studies, occupations, startups and business enterprises. Their work also focuses on collaborations with organisations that support Social and Business Entrepreneurship, female Youth Development as well as Leadership skills for young women. Girls In STEM Trust, through its vibrant STEMinist Community Series, empowers and challenges young women in the Girls In STEM Trust community to take ownership of STEM programmes by coordinating their own mentorship programme, which is currently being supported by women already in STEM careers and businesses across the globe.
