Here's a little more info about this opportunity...

The Homestead is hosting it's 3rd annual sports tournament! The Sports Tournament is one of the highlights of our year! For one day, children who live in challenging environments can escape their hardships, coming together to participate in sports, socialize, and just be children. This event is a brief yet powerful respite from their everyday challenges, where they can feel the thrill of competition, celebrate team victories, and enjoy the camaraderie of their peers. Participants: 8 teams from Homestead centers, representing the communities we serve; Khayelitsha, Mitchells Plain, Manenberg, Bishop Lavis, and Woodstock as well as children from our Child and Youth Care Centers in Khayelitsha. Audience: Approximately 250 children, 46 staff members, and numerous spectators from the Homestead community. Sports Activities: Soccer and Netball Location: The Homestead CYCC Soccer Field, Khayelitsha.
