Help Love Trust with 5 volunteers for photography

Here's a little more info about this opportunity...

The Love Trust is dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty through education. Founded in 2009, we are a South African charitable not for profit organisation (NPO) with a vision to nurture future generations of servant leaders by providing quality values-based education to vulnerable children. Our focus is on providing quality values-based education and social care to vulnerable children at our Nokuphila School in Thembisa, Midrand. We also train black South African women to become accredited early childhood development (ECD) teachers. Quality, values-based education is an instrument to give children hope and the right foundation to have a future free of poverty and a more equal society. Trained and qualified Early Childhood Development (ECD) teachers is the critical catalyst for a child’s lifelong learning and development. We are looking for a volunteer professional photographer or a keen amateur to take some photographs of our amazing programmes in education. We request 1 - 4 hours per event, as and when needed, and also based on your availability. Please email Naleli at nalelim@lovetrust.co.za or Amo at amo@lovetrust.co.za

Helpful tips

Stay safe

  1. 1Don’t pass any personal information to people you haven’t met offline before.
  2. 2When meeting one of your contacts offline for the first time, always be sure to arrange to meet in a public place.
  3. 3Make sure that you are not left alone with someone that you have never met before.
  4. 4Know where you’re going. If you’re headed off the beaten track or into an unfamiliar part of town, be sure you have directions and a GPS or map book.
  5. 5If you feel unsafe, consult the person in charge and let him or her know.
  6. 6Avoid wearing expensive jewellery: it could get damaged, lost or stolen.
  7. 7Ask, ask, ask! If you’re worried about something or concerned about your safety in a certain situation, ask the person in charge.
