Here's a little more info about this opportunity...

Support Cape Mental Health's Dignity Drive for Girls & Women. The rights of girls and women are compromised when they have to change their daily routines, face stigma and discrimination in their communities, schools, and workplaces, and be at risk of poor sexual and reproductive health outcomes simply because they can’t manage menstruation with dignity. Donate just R12 or a pack of sanitary pads per month to show you care! Contact the Donor Development Department at nina.crawford.org.za or events@cmh.org.za. We will ensure your donation reaches a girl or woman in need at Cape Mental Health's community-based mental health programmes in disadvantaged communities. #MyDignityCounts #MenstruationIsPartOfLife

Helpful tips

Stay safe

  1. 1Don’t pass any personal information to people you haven’t met offline before.
  2. 2When meeting one of your contacts offline for the first time, always be sure to arrange to meet in a public place.
  3. 3Make sure that you are not left alone with someone that you have never met before.
  4. 4Know where you’re going. If you’re headed off the beaten track or into an unfamiliar part of town, be sure you have directions and a GPS or map book.
  5. 5If you feel unsafe, consult the person in charge and let him or her know.
  6. 6Avoid wearing expensive jewellery: it could get damaged, lost or stolen.
  7. 7Ask, ask, ask! If you’re worried about something or concerned about your safety in a certain situation, ask the person in charge.
