The project aims to alleviate poverty by creating jobs and entrepreneurship opportunities for youth and women The project utilizes 20 hectares of tribal land for crop and poultry production, equipping youth with practical farming and agribusiness skills. It aims to tackle food insecurity, unemployment, and environmental sustainability while fostering economic empowerment through agro-processing and market linkages. The initiative includes training in modern agricultural techniques, crop cultivation (cabbages, spinach, and corn), poultry farming (egg layers and broilers), and mentorship from industry experts. BCF seeks R2,845,000 in funding for infrastructure, equipment, and training materials. Future plans include expanding the project, establishing an agro-processing facility, and integrating smart farming technology.
