Support AFS-Khusela network sites, part of the Community Network of Organisations in sustaining their efforts in assisting families and children within their communities. Your donations of perishable, non-perishable grocery items, hygiene packs, stationery and children's clothing are greatly appreciated. clothing for children in families. Network sites are currently registering with the Department of Social Development (DSD) under the district ward model which allows them to access funding through local Government budgets to support their initiatives. These sites will collaborate closely with the Gauteng Department of Social Development to effectively monitor systemic outcomes for children. Here's a little more info about this opportunity The AFS-Khusela Community-based Prevention Model developed in collaboration with the Gauteng Department of Social Development, gives agency back to communities by empowering members to address and prevent family breakdowns. This model focuses on preserving family bonds, empowering communities, and safeguarding vulnerable children. The thing that truly sets the AFS-Khusela model apart is the commitment to preserving family bonds, empowering communities, and safeguarding vulnerable children. At the community level, independently managed AFS-Khusela networks in Gauteng Province oversee the implementation of this program. These community networks are vital in providing emergency foster care support services to families in need. Immediate support is crucial to sustain their efforts in assisting families and children. The following are needs that they consistently need to fill.
