Zilisimenye Elderly Home

Zilisimenye Elderly Home was established to accommodate senior citizens and look after the neglected and deserted elderly in the communities. We approach each resident as an individual, to respect their independence, privacy and freedom of choice in meeting their physical/mental, cultural and spiritual needs. We realized a need for a residential home in the area that will accommodate elderly persons in need of care in the area, many of the previously disadvantaged elderly persons are homeless and deserted. It is shameful to see and elderly citizen struggling for basic needs such as food, health care and shelter. We are admitting beneficiaries with the following conditions: Hypertension, Diabetics, Stroke patients, Dementia and Alzheimer’s conditions and other rare conditions. We wish to admit frail and semi-frail patients but the current condition of the home does not allow, We currently take our patients to the local clinics and we are situated very close to Kopanong Hospital.
