The Seed Fund (Amaphupho Yezingane Seed Fund)

The Seed Fund is an NPO and PBO, registered in August 2017, to bring about transformation in severely disadvantaged communities with a focus on alleviation of poverty. Our primary focus is on children's education, particularly Early Childhood Development (ECD) and Primary school education. We run an ECD centre and a homework centre for primary school children. We aim to provide opportunities for children to attend better local schools that offer sport, art and culture as part of their curriculum giving the children a better all round education and foundation for life. We operate a food kitchen which provides daily meals for our ECD children and our long term dream is to be able to provide daily meals for all children in the settlement (86 children).
