Sikhululekile Reading Development and Life Skills

"Sikhululekile Reading Development and Life Skills was established in 2012 to address the challenges faced by the youth of Philippi and surrounding areas. These challenges include, but are not limited to, poor academic performance, crime, poverty, and violence. Since our inception, we have positively impacted the lives of over 500 children. Notable achievements include assisting Zanemfundo Primary School in becoming one of the top three achievers in the Metro South District systematic exams for the first time in 2014. In 2015, we aided Mkhanyiseli Primary in achieving the top spot in the Metro South District. In 2021, we supported two of our learners in publishing a children's storybook.".
