New BeginningZ Baby Haven is a residential care facility for 30 abandoned, abused and neglected babies and toddlers, 0 to 5 years old. These babies come from police stations, hospitals, child protection organisations, department of social development, Baby wall, Children’s court and many other referring organisations. Our baby program includes stimulation and development, including special medical care, such as; drug and alcohol addicted babies, preemies, low birth weight, failure to thrive, severe neglect and malnourishment, hydrocephaly, microcephaly, cerebral palsy, epilepsy, PEG tubes, tracheas to name a few. We focus on early trauma intervention (from abuse, neglect or abandonment) to ensure optimal healthy emotional, social, psychological and cognitive development for each child.
