Khula's own little Princess

Our dearest Olivia* sat in our Khula classroom quite a few years back. She was neglected and scared like so many other children we work with every day. With the help of 'tannie' Alta, our facilitator at that stage, Olivia* opened up and started to make immense progress which lead to her being closed off on our database. A few years later, Khula held a Go2Captain prizegiving ceremony in one of our schools and 'tannie' Alta noticed Olivia*. She was now all grown up and one of the children receiving a prize for setting an example of being a good student in school! Today, Olivia* is an intern working with children in the communities just like she was, making sure they know the value of education and the value of being loved.
