The organisation was established n 1969.We cater for 113 persons on a daily basis which comprises of three areas : residential(23) ,Day Facility(70)Severely Profound(20).Residential has two housemothers who provide two meals and a snack during the week,and three meals on the weekend.This is a home away from home.Day Facility known as a protective workshop.Persons from the residential are part of the Day facility from Monday to friday. They participate in education,sport(soccer & netabll) and contract work assigned to our organisation by a company called IOTECH.Our beneficiaries assemble units for automated gates.Once the work is completed by us the supervisor checks the work and delivers same to the company.The company pays us for the work completed.The beneficiaries receive a stipend according to the work completed.They work on a production line which allows most of the beneficiaries to participate in the program.They also participate in education programs provided by ABET .They ...
