Edenvale Care Centre Hospice

Edenvale Care Centre Hospice, which is situated in Ekurhuleni, Gauteng is the only Government Hospice in the Ekurhuleni district. We are a registered non-profit organization committed to serving our community by providing physical, psychological and social care that arises from any terminal illness including Cancer, TB and HIV/AIDS. We achieve this by providing physical care for those patients in terminal stages of their disease. We also provide counselling services to people diagnosed with HIV/AIDS, their family and friends. Our 13-bed ward became operational in 2004, and, since our inception has provided palliative care to patients in excess of 1 400 to date, some of whom have recovered sufficiently, able to return home and places of employment.
