Bergzicht Training
We help unemployed individuals, mainly youth and women by providing skills training and job placement support.
More about Bergzicht Training
Bergzicht has been in existence for 30 years. Bergzicht functions as a vocational skills training centre where unemployed youths from impoverished communities (mostly women) that have been forced out of school, that cannot find work due to their lack of employability skills, receive job related skills training. Apart from a small registration fee, training is provided free of charge and selection criteria are kept to a minimum. Students must be able to read and write English at a very basic (ABET level 3) level. Adult education and training methods are used. Training groups are small to enable the facilitator to give full attention to students. Student welfare counselling plays an integral part of training support during training at the campus and once employed. Once qualified, Bergzicht strive to place graduates in full time employment in the local industry. Bergzicht is an accredited training provider with the Health & Welfare SETA (HWSETA).
