Here's a little more info about this opportunity...
We are planning to build an ECD Ecobrick Centre for 100 kids in Diepsloot who are using a 4 roomed house for classes. The centre will have 5 classrooms each housing 20 students from ages 2-5 years, 6 toilets , play area, kitchen and office for teachers. We are also going to start a garden to produce vegetables to feed the kids. The community has already started making eco-bricks and we currently have 20 000 to kick start the project. However without money to buy building materials and pay stipends for the volunteers and the builders, the project can not take off. We are hoping to start the project in July for Mandela Month
