The community of Gwatyu farms engages in subsistence farming for both livestock and crop farming. However, there are challenges emanating from the lack of fencing, water and farming implements in general. This community comprises of seventy-seven farms with a great potential for livestock, crop, and herbs farming which can contribute to the economy and food security of South Africa.
