Courage

During Child Protection Week we hosted group sessions and discussed rights and responsibilities. Making children aware of what is right and wrong. After one of our sessions a young girl came to the CK office to disclose what had happened to her for almost two years. She found the courage to share that she was abused and that this has haunted her. It had always been said to her that what happens in the house is no ones business. While taking part in the group session she realised that what was happening to her was wrong and she could ask for help. She is now receiving the support that she needs.
