The MOBI Soup Kitchen

The MOBI is Zimbabwe’s very first Mobile Soup Kitchen, feeding between 400 and 600 children living in disadvantaged communities in Harare. The MOBI was set up at the start of 2022 and has served over 35,000 meals to date. The MOBI primarily focuses on children below the age of 16 and our team continues to gather information on our most vulnerable children, specifically in relation their general health, HIV Status, level of education and school attendance. Based on this information, we have coordinated a number of medical outreaches and have launched the MOBI School Fee Campaign 2023 to ensure that as many children as possible have access to schooling. THE MOBI is the first of its kind in Zimbabwe and is already providing crucial access for vulnerable children to nutrition, support, education, healthcare and long term change.
