Community Development and Poverty Reduction

Dialogue on Shelter Trust (DOS) in alliance with Zimbabwe Homeless People's Federation and Zimbabwe Young People's Federation (network of organized slum dwellers) supports community-led initiatives to address challenges experiences by vulnerable people living in slum communities. Dialogue on Shelter Trust's thrust focuses of strengthening women and girls living in vulnerable communities to be resilient and contribute to community developmental interventions. Further DOS, values equity, equality and building capacity on local knowledge and wisdom that will provide critical sustainable engagement that helps reduce urban poverty. DOS interventions are also centered around achieving sustainable development goals that will create self resilient communities.
