Here's a little more info about this opportunity...
The Finance Clerk role involves supporting the finance team with a range of essential tasks, with a current focus on backdated bookkeeping as we prepare for our upcoming audit. Responsibilities include processing bills, checks, receipts, and other financial documents, and ensuring all documents are accurately signed and distributed. Volunteers will help verify financial and tax-related data, monitor transactions, and maintain accurate records. Additional tasks include assisting with account reconciliations and audits, reporting on account statuses and discrepancies, and preparing invoices and financial reports. The role also includes maintaining financial databases and filing systems, reviewing documents for accuracy, and compiling financial statements and reports as needed. This is an excellent opportunity for someone detail-oriented and eager to gain experience in nonprofit finance and audit preparation.

Stay safe
