Here's a little more info about this opportunity...

The Living Link is looking for companies that will volunteer in hosting students at their offices for the students to complete their on the job training in what we call Job Sampling. Positions must be entry level - basic admin, cleaning of offices (not toilets), general office assistant, working in a corporate kitchens, maintenance assistant etc. The company will be supported by a job coach from The Living Link who will visit the company on a regular basis providing support to the student and the company to navigate the world of work. There is no cost for the job coach and their is no cost for the company hosting the student.

  1. 1Don’t pass any personal information to people you haven’t met offline before.
  2. 2When meeting one of your contacts offline for the first time, always be sure to arrange to meet in a public place.
  3. 3Make sure that you are not left alone with someone that you have never met before.
  4. 4Know where you’re going. If you’re headed off the beaten track or into an unfamiliar part of town, be sure you have directions and a GPS or map book.
  5. 5If you feel unsafe, consult the person in charge and let him or her know.
