This test kits will enable our beneficiaries who reside in Nigeria, the capital hub of sickle cell disease worldwide know if they carry the sickle cell gene and can pass it down to their future generations. They'll also be educated on the combination of different genotypes and what genotypes can be found in their offsprings to make an informed choice with genotype compatibility in mind when getting married. Example of this kits include the HemoType SC. It comes in a pack of 50 test strips and cost 170,000 Nigerian Naira.
