Here's a little more info about this opportunity...
We’re on a mission to support the children we mentor — not just emotionally and socially, but physically too. Help us pack powerful pockets of energy and care by donating Snack Packs that keep our kids nourished during camps, outings, and mentorship sessions. 🍿 Each Snack Pack Includes: ✅ 5 x 36g packets of Potato Chips ✅ 5 x Energy Bars ✅ 5 x 50g packets of Peanuts or Trail Mix ✅ 1 x 1-Litre Juice Concentrate These aren’t just snacks — they’re fuel for focus, fun, and full hearts. 💛 Why It Matters: Many of our kids arrive without having had a meal. Healthy snacks help with energy, attention, and participation. It’s a small act that says: “You matter. You’re cared for.” 🙌 How You Can Help: 🎒 Donate a full pack or any individual items 👥 Host a snack drive at your school, workplace, or church
Helpful tips
Stay safe
- 1. Don’t pass any personal information to people you haven’t met offline before.
- 2. When meeting one of your contacts offline for the first time, always be sure to arrange to meet in a public place.
- 3. Make sure that you are not left alone with someone that you have never met before.
- 4. Know where you’re going. If you’re headed off the beaten track or into an unfamiliar part of town, be sure you have directions and a GPS or map book.
- 5. If you feel unsafe, consult the person in charge and let him or her know.
- 6. Avoid wearing expensive jewellery: it could get damaged, lost or stolen.
- 7. Ask, ask, ask! If you’re worried about something or concerned about your safety in a certain situation, ask the person in charge.
