Here's a little more info about this opportunity...

Help Build a Brighter Future with Edu Fun Education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty, yet thousands of children in Diepsloot—a sprawling informal settlement in Johannesburg—struggle with literacy due to overcrowded classrooms, limited resources, and systemic challenges. Edu Fun is changing that. As a volunteer-led non-profit, Edu Fun partners with Diepsloot Combined School (DCS) to empower grade 2 and 3 learners with the gift of literacy** through the proven Phono-Graphix method. Our approach is simple but powerful: by teaching young minds to decode language, we **unlock their potential, boost their confidence, and open doors to a future filled with opportunity. But we don’t stop at literacy. We mend uniforms, conduct student health checks, and provide financial assistance to promising learners for university education— ensuring that poverty isn’t a barrier to success. Now, Edu Fun is expanding to support learners in other underserved schools across South Africa. Last year alone, students’ reading skills improved by 60% and spelling by 73%, thanks to the dedication of volunteers and donors like you. Your support provides vital resources, expands our reach, and ultimately transforms lives. Whether it's a once-off donation or ongoing support, your contribution makes a lasting impact. Let’s invest in education, uplift communities, and create a future where every child has the chance to succeed. Donate today and be a part of the change!
