Help Sinosizo Siyaphambili by donating a pop corn machine for fundaising activities and events
Here's a little more info about this opportunity...
Sinosizo Siyaphambili is currently facing financial challenges, and we are actively working on creative ways to raise funds while continuing to serve our community. One of the ways we’re doing this is through community events that combine education, fun, and income generation. We are planning a Child Protection Awareness event at a local school in May. This event will include educational activities where we teach children about their rights, safety, and how to seek help when needed. To make the day engaging and joyful, we’re also planning games, entertainment, and food stalls, including a popcorn stand. We are appealing for a donation of a popcorn machine to use at this and future fundraising events. Selling popcorn is a simple but effective way for us to raise funds during events while bringing joy to the children attending. Your donation of a popcorn machine, new or second-hand in good working condition will help us generate income in a sustainable and dignified way while supporting important community outreach and education.
Helpful tips
Stay safe
- 1. Don’t pass any personal information to people you haven’t met offline before.
- 2. When meeting one of your contacts offline for the first time, always be sure to arrange to meet in a public place.
- 3. Make sure that you are not left alone with someone that you have never met before.
- 4. Know where you’re going. If you’re headed off the beaten track or into an unfamiliar part of town, be sure you have directions and a GPS or map book.
- 5. If you feel unsafe, consult the person in charge and let him or her know.
- 6. Avoid wearing expensive jewellery: it could get damaged, lost or stolen.
- 7. Ask, ask, ask! If you’re worried about something or concerned about your safety in a certain situation, ask the person in charge.
