St Mary's School Waverley Foundation NPC

We have a number of programmes that the St Mary’s Foundation supports: 1. The Ikusasa Lethu (Our Future) programme provides supplementary tuition on Saturdays to learners from five Alexandra township schools. Kids are selected from Grades 8 – 12 and extra focus is placed on Maths and Science, English and Computer skills. On average there are a total number of 375 scholars in this programme. The monies donated to this programme helps cover costs for educators, transport costs, stationery costs for students as well as food and drinks for the learners. 2. The St Mary’s Foundation also has a scholarship programme which provides financial assistance to Senior school pupils who have the ability to become leaders in their communities but cannot afford to attend a prestigious institution such as St Mary’s.
