We have secured a computer lab and from time to time host Trainings to empowerment the public with skills. We have various programs we tailored Local SMEs and Candidates who seek employment. Eduworks College ( Educational Institution ) & Ekurhuleni LED ( Local Economic Development ) - Between the years 2021 - 2023: We’ve have successfully empowered business owners as well as the community through a roll out programme from NEMISA ( Nemisa ) National Electronics Media Institute of South Africa ). We managed to develop over 350+ Individuals through the partnership. Kasie Labs ( Digital Skills Training Provider ) - In 2023: We further managed to work alongside kasie labz through their partner Siyafunda to further spread training in various regions from Orange Farm, Johannesburg & Randfontein successfully empowered business owners as well as the community through a roll out programme from NEMISA ( Nemisa ) National Electronics Media Institute of South Africa ). We managed to develop over 200+ Individuals through the partnership. EWC CFERI ( Centre For Entrepreneurship Rapid Incubator ) & UJ ( University of Johannesburg ) - Between the years 2021 - 2023: We have partnered with HFT to recruit unemployed community members and provide the learners with work placements. EWC CFERI ( Centre For Entrepreneurship Rapid Incubator ), The Innovation Hub ( innovation agency of the Gauteng Province ), Kasie Labs & Ekurhuleni LED ( Local Economic Development ) - November 2023: Alongside EWC, Innovation Hub & Kasie Labs. We have successfully planned and hosted a 3 Day event for #November Entrepreneurship month which offered SME’s an opportunity to showcase their work. The event rotated in different venues: Day 1: Sam Ntuli Mall SMEs set up stalls early in the morning. The community showed growing interest throughout the day, and we promoted the event on Kasi FM 94.7. Day 2: Civic Centre opposite Naledi Mall. SMEs arrived early to set up and prepare for the day ahead, aiming to generate sales and promote their businesses. Day 3: EWC Tvet College CFERI Building On the final day of the week, our subject matter experts (SMEs) set up their stalls early. We conducted graduations for the SMEs who took part in the Ximilani program and were visited by the MEC crew.
