Triple Shine Foundation NPC

Triple Shine Foundation runs the local hub of Eco Soap Bank in South Africa, a global non profit that focuses on disadvantaged women, girls and children. Dignity, hope and worth is established in each of them through our hygiene and job creation program. At our soap recycling site we hire economically challenged women who have been unemployed/underemployed for long periods of time due to not having had a fair opportunity to pursue further studies, affected by poverty and abuse. These women are paid fair wages and trained as soap makers to recycle and make soap bars formed in child friendly shapes to change children’s hygiene behaviour that we call “SoaPlay”. SoaPlay bars are distributed to Early Childhood Development Centres (ECD) , schools and children’s charity organisations at subsidized pricing. All the proceeds from sales then go towards operations to sustain the jobs and make more soap bars.
