More about The Nashua Children's Charity Foundation
Groceries are distributed on a rotational basis to the 101 children's organizations that are in the NCCF's permanent portfolio with between 20 and 22 charities receiving these goods each month. The organizations include orphanages, day care centers, creches, soup kitchens, outreach centers, special needs schools and safe houses. And that's just one charitable aspect that the NCCF focuses on. The full story of the organization began over 30 years ago, long before companies began getting involved with CSI projects as a means to boost their BEE ratings. Back then, Nashua got involved with charity work for the simple reason that the company’s CEO at the time believed it was their responsibility to make a difference in the lives of those that needed it the most.
