Little Paws Big Hearts Secunda - Establish 2 November 2013. We are the only organization in this area doing outreaches in the rural and townships. Currently we are serving 4 areas, Holfontein, Nkomeni (Evander) Marikana and Afganistan (Kinross). We are in the planning phase of starting outreaches in Kriel. Our focus is to better the life's of every animal we come across. On outreaches (done on kind donations) we hand out food, treat minor injuries, do treatment for ticks and Fleas, de worm. Identify animals needing dog kennels, taking sick animals to the Evander Vetenerian and put names on the owners asking to have the animals sterilized. Education about the 5 Freedoms for animals are a high priority on every outreach. We discuss this and hand out educational material to the pet owners. In Ghana they have a 6the freedom for animals.
