Our purpose is to empower girls and women by eradicating period poverty through sustainable means. We dream of giving every woman and girl the freedom of a future unrestricted by their menstrual cycles. We believe that every girl deserves the right to an uninterrupted education. 3 in 10 girls in South Africa miss a week of school every month because they can't afford menstrual products OUR MISSION IS TO END PERIOD POVERTY IN SOUTH AFRICA - 7 MILLION WOMEN HOW WE DO IT We equip girls with period packs consisting of menstrual cups (each lasting a girl up to ten years), reusable pads and period panties. We simultaneously provide workshops which cover the following: What is menstruation and why does it happen? When can I expect my period if I have not yet had one?
