If you have a cause that needs volunteers, goods or money, we invite you to list it on our site. We accept all kinds of causes, from NGOs and large charities to schools, groups and even individuals. We do not however accept political causes or causes that promote discrimination.
In order to create a need you will need to register your cause on forgood. You don’t need any documentation to be accepted onto the site. You only need to complete the necessary steps.
However, if you would like to be an accredited cause, we need certain documents from you.
Benefits of being accredited include that you will be listed on forgood as an accredited cause, and our corporate clients will be able to view your profile and contribute to your needs.
Documents needed to be accredited are the following:
If you wish your organisation to be visible to one of our corporate users (for employee volunteering and giving), you will need to submit the following information (in addition to the above) in order to be validated as a qualifying cause:
Forgood will advise you within two weeks whether you have been validated as a qualifying cause.
Upon receiving all this information, forgood will make a decision based on requirements needed to approve or disapprove the application. Forgood can use its own discretion on making this decision.
If you are unable to provide any of the above, please contact us and we will review our application on an individual basis. Not having any of the above does NOT prevent you from using our website.
Once you have completed the application process, you will get an e-mail notification to let you know whether your cause was accepted or not.
If you would like to register, but you’re not sure if your cause qualifies, or if you don’t have any documentation to back up your organisation, contact us at email@example.com or call 011 325 2594
Forgood connects people with causes.
If you represent a group needing assistance, we give you a way to connect with those who want to help.
