The Fashion Upcycling Project for Social Good is a meaningful initiative that combines environmental sustainability with social impact. By February 2025, we aim to provide at least 10,000 pairs of upcycled clothing to marginalized communities in Lagos and Abuja, offering not just quality clothing but also a renewed sense of dignity and inclusion. This project addresses the critical issue of textile waste, which significantly impacts the environment. By collecting donated clothing, including those that are no longer wearable, we prevent these items from ending up in landfills and contributing to pollution. Usable items are distributed to those in need, while damaged pieces are creatively transformed into stylish, upcycled garments by talented fashion designers. More than just distributing clothing, this initiative brings together donors, sponsors, and communities to promote sustainable fashion and reduce environmental harm.
