Mobile Journalism Initiative – MJI is a groundbreaking program designed to empower young girls from rural communities more especially from all the districts in the Northern Region of Malawi through the art of storytelling and mobile technology.This is to bridge the gap between urban and rural areas by providing these talented young girls with the tools and skills they need to become confident,effective storytellers. In many rural areas across the Northern Region of Malawi,young girls face significant barriers to education and various opportunities.This initiative aims at creating a platform for them to share their unique perspectives,voices,and stories with the world.By equipping them with smartphones,training,and mentorship from experienced journalists,we are fostering a new generation of leaders who will challenge stereotypes,promote social change,and build stronger communities.
