Organizational Overview and Vision Early Risers of Hope (EROHI) is a mission-driven, community-based organization founded in 2021 to uplift adolescent parents and their children in Kenya's rural communities. EROHI’s purpose is clear: to create a supportive environment where adolescent parents can thrive holistically, unlocking their full potential through education, mentorship, Parental engagement, and empowerment. Guided by our commitment to gender equity, EROHI’s leadership structure is 85% female, with a female Executive Director steering the organization toward impactful change. EROHI’s approach focuses on addressing the unique challenges facing adolescent parents, such as early pregnancies, school dropouts, insufficient skills & knowledge on responsive caregiving, and economic insecurity. Through our integrated operational structure, which combines our Finance, Operations, and Programs teams, we ensure seamless communication, innovative solutions, and with robust M&E framework to ensure measurable outcomes/tracking. By collaborating with local leaders and forming peer-support networks/groups, we amplify the voices and agency of adolescent parents, fostering community-driven solutions to systemic challenges. Vision: We imagine a world where every Adolescent girl and young child grows up in a safe and nurturing family to develop their full potential. 2. Our Holistic Approach: Programs That Transform Lives EROHI’s programs are strategically designed to focus on the whole teenager—their education & economicempowerment, mental health, parental engagement, entrepreneurship, leadership, and personal development. Through targeted initiatives, we enable adolescent parents to overcome barriers and build brighter futures for themselves and their children. A. Mentor the Girl Program – Group-based delivery through the frontline workforce. This six-month program addresses adolescent girls’ most pressing challenges, including school dropouts and early pregnancies. Participants gain life skills, sexual and reproductive health knowledge, and entrepreneurial training, enabling them to challenge gender inequalities and achieve holistic development. The following are modules covered under the Mentor the Girl Program; • Entrepreneurship Training modules: We empower young girls with the skills and resources to create their businesses, fostering financial independence and long-term economic stability. • Social Life Skills Modules: Adolescents receive training to manage relationships, make informed decisions, and build resilience against peer pressure, equipping them to navigate life’s challenges confidently. • Psychosocial Support for Mental Health: EROHI prioritizes mental health by providing a safe space for healing and growth. Through psychosocial support, participants develop a positive self-image, heal from trauma, and rediscover their dreams. • Parental Engagement: Strengthening positive parenting practices, this program educates parents and caregivers on developmental milestones and supportive strategies, ensuring adolescent girls and their children receive nurturing care and opportunities to succeed B. Nutrition and Health: Focused on addressing malnutrition and improving healthcare access, this program trains adolescent mothers in kitchen farming for food security while connecting them to youth-friendly clinics for essential services as per their needs. C. Scholars Program: Building Tomorrow’s Leaders The Scholars Program (SP) identifies exceptional young talent in rural Kenya, offering a comprehensive 12-month preparatory initiative to develop leadership skills, academic excellence, and career goals. One-on-one coaching fosters personal growth, preparing participants to become agents of change within their communities and beyond. • Leadership Development: By nurturing leadership skills, we empower adolescents—particularly young girls—to step into influential roles within their communities, breaking cycles of poverty and inequality. 3.
