Help Hands of Help Children's Organization by donating library furnitures and learning materials for school going children and library users
Here's a little more info about this opportunity...
Hands of Help Children's Organization is a social impact civil society organization registered as a community-based organization to advocate for equal access to education in informal settlements and rural communities. We promote literacy activities by embracing the culture of traditional and digital learning. We are currently running a community library and digital learning center named Havens Community Library and Digital Learning Centre based in the informal settlements of Kasabuni village, Baba Dogo Ward in Nairobi Kenya. This Community Library is impacting the lives of over 200 school-going boys and girls from this community. The project Havens Community Library and Digital Learning Centre is very promising as it is the only Community Library and Information Centre in this ward of Baba Dogo while there are approximately 4000 school-going children in the said community. Community Library has been operational since late 2022 however with the scarcity of learning materials i.e. modern story books, CBC materials, desktops for digital learning, and other children's resources. We are therefore seeking volunteers and partners to help us scale up our impact through donations of Desktop/Laptop computers to be used for digital learning and research, library and office furniture, reading materials, and sanitary materials for our Menstrual Health Management Program. Your support is highly appreciated.
