New Hope SA believes that homelessness should not exist & is completely preventable. Every person who finds themselves on the streets has a valuable story & ambition for their life which should be celebrated. We believe that every homeless person has agency to make their own decisions & should be supported in their journey towards a healthy, community-orientated life off the streets. New Hope SA aims to create long-term, sustainable pathways out of homelessness. It does so primarily through the use of multiple residential transitional homes which can accommodate up to 10 previously homeless individuals for a period of 6 - 36 months. New Hope SA’s purpose is not only to provide accommodation for the homeless but a holistic program which includes a sheltered work environment, social work & counselling services & connection to drug & alcohol rehabilitation centres.
