FOR COLOURED GIRLS BURSARY FOUNDATION

For Coloured Girls Bursary Foundation is the brainchild of Geraldine Engelman, who grew up in the Cape Flats in Western Cape. The purpose of establishing For Coloured Girls Bursary Foundation is to provide support and resources for girl children from grade 8 to grade 12 through mentoring, learning and development initiatives, psychological and financial aid for those with the potential and passion to further their academic qualifications. Our sole drive for the organisation is to provide a platform for girl children who are growing up in “coloured” communities with no or little access to resources. We are confident that with our foundation we can build critical changing chapters in their lives to promote positive outcomes, prevent a variety of risk behaviours and result in robust and sustained impacts.
