This is our journey to build a volunteering culture in the developing world. We cannot sit back and wait for governments to solve our problems – we need to get involved. We need to build our country together!

Manage your forgood profile – All you need to know if you are a Cause registered on forgood. How to sign in, how to edit your profile and how to upload new documents.
Keep your profile active – we measure your activity through your Cause Profile Quality & Engagement Score.
How to load new Needs – By adding new Needs you tell our donors & volunteers exactly how they can help you.
How to rate people who donate or volunteer – Letting us know how good/bad a volunteer is, helps us understand if we’re adding value to your Cause. RATINGS are a way to make your voice heard! That’s why you need to sign into your Cause dashboard regularly to RATE activities that have happened already.
How to make use of offers – Make sure you, as a Cause, understand Offers and how they work, so that you can make the most of them.

Managing volunteers – We’ve gathered valuable documents and guidelines on how to manage Volunteers coming to help at your Cause. These documents were put together by some of our friendly Causes who made them available for us to share! They have areas which overlap, but you can take a look and use individual sections and clauses as applicable to your specific Cause and purpose. Using and adapting these documents may help you plan and execute volunteer events better. To make sure that we are creating the best giving experiences for both the Cause and the Volunteer, we’ve created a set of requirements for our Causes in order to register:
Proof that the Cause is older than 1 year
Documentation that proves the Cause is older than 1 year (we accept the following: NPO certificate, NPC certificate, or Public Benefit Trust Deed)
Latest Tax Compliance Document from SARS. (Read why this is so important!)
PBO Certificate (your income tax exemption letter from SARS). Either Section 30 or Section 18A are accepted.
The Cause's logo (in JPG or PNG format).
