Here's a little more info about this opportunity...

Volunteers can be creative and innovative with ideas to communicate our impact and success stories to potential donors. You might come across many passionate individuals who are looking for charities which they can financially support - where they can invest in lives and futures, and make an unimaginable impact. This is us! Changing the lives of people with hearing loss, giving them the only chance to be part of normal society. Be a promotor for us, a voice - and raise some funds to change a life forever! (*funds must be paid directly into our bank account and section 18 A tax certificates are available. Applicable documents will be supplied when you volunteer for this need.)

Helpful tips

Stay safe

  1. 1Don’t pass any personal information to people you haven’t met offline before.
  2. 2When meeting one of your contacts offline for the first time, always be sure to arrange to meet in a public place.
  3. 3Make sure that you are not left alone with someone that you have never met before.
  4. 4Know where you’re going. If you’re headed off the beaten track or into an unfamiliar part of town, be sure you have directions and a GPS or map book.
  5. 5If you feel unsafe, consult the person in charge and let him or her know.
  6. 6Avoid wearing expensive jewellery: it could get damaged, lost or stolen.
  7. 7Ask, ask, ask! If you’re worried about something or concerned about your safety in a certain situation, ask the person in charge.
